Small swatches or fidgets were created in a variety of sizes, shapes, and fabrics and were manipulated with a variety of techniques to create unique surface texture. Velcro is on the back of each swatch so that it can stick anywhere onto the garment.

The prototype is made out of felt so that Velcro will adhere to it, however a fabric would be developed that would be less restrictive, but was still soft and allowed Velcro to stick when the shirt was manufactured.
